Deputy King meets outgoing Jordanian ambassador
Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the outgoing Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Bahrain, Mohamed Ali Seraj, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed the longstanding ties that exist between the two countries, highlighting that relations are historically deep rooted and continue to enjoy full support from the leaderships of both Kingdoms. The Deputy King also emphasised that the two countries' relations are underpinned by extensive cooperation across a range of sectors.
The Deputy King expressed his appreciation for the support Jordan extends to Bahrain, noting the pioneering role it plays in addressing regional issues and supporting regional stability.
His Royal Highness went on to extend his gratitude to the outgoing Jordanian Ambassador, wishing him every success in his future endeavours.
For his part, the outgoing Jordanian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and expressed his appreciation for the support given to him throughout his time in the Kingdom. The Ambassador thanked His Royal Highness for his support in further strengthening relations between Bahrain and Jordan, and wished the Kingdom every success as it pursues its path of development and prosperity.
