HRH Crown Prince Meets with UK Foreign Secretary

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, today met with UK Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon William Hague MP, at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Crown Prince reviews bilateral relations with British Premier

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander held this evening a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister David Cameron at 10 Downing Street in London as part of his visit to Britain. Deputy King Receives 12 CPISP Laureates

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has today stressed the crucial importance of acquiring knowledge as a catalyst for progress and development. He pointed out Bahrain’s keenness to empower individuals, by arming them with knowledge and providing them with the opportunities to excel. “This would enable them to participate constructively in building Bahrain’s present and future”, he said. He made the comments as he received at Riffa Palace the 12th batch of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Programme for 2012. The lucky 2012 laureates are Ahmed Adam Bardouli (Isa Town Secondary Boys’ School), Isra’a Abdulnabi Al-Sabah (Khawla Secondary Girls’ School), Firas Abdulla Al-Ajmi (St Christopher School), Jannat Oun Al-Khnizi (Khawla Secondary Girls’ School), Mohammed Nabeel Khonji (Isa Town Secondary Boys’ School), Mona Mohammed Hassan (Khawla Secondary Girls’ School), Ala’a Mohammed Kamal (Abdulrahman Kanoo International School), Saeed Ahmed Al-Rahma (Isa Town Secondary Boys’ School), Sarra Ali Al-Zeera (Al-Raja School) and Yusuf Fareed Rubin (St Christopher School). Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said he was confident Bahrain’s future would be brighter.
