Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has today stressed the crucial importance of acquiring knowledge as a catalyst for progress and development. He pointed out Bahrain’s keenness to empower individuals, by arming them with knowledge and providing them with the opportunities to excel. “This would enable them to participate constructively in building Bahrain’s present and future”, he said. He made the comments as he received at Riffa Palace the 12th batch of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Programme for 2012.
