His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Al Khalifa, today sent a cable of congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the success of the first-ever Formula One night race – Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2014.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today awarded the prize to the winner of this year’s 2014 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix champion Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes’ AMG Petronas team. His Royal Highness also oversaw prizes given to runner up Nico Roseberg from the same team and third place finisher, Sahara Force India driver Sergio Perez.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minster, hosted a gala dinner tonight for assembled guests from motorsport and further afield to mark the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix and the tenth anniversary of Formula One in the Middle East.
