HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expresses pride in HM the King’s commendation of the government’s efforts during Ashura

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s commendation of the government’s efforts during Ashura by providing the necessary preparations and facilities is a source of pride for all government entities.

His Royal Highness highlighted that the success of the organisational efforts was the result of the collective efforts and close coordination of various government entities, foremost among them the Ministry of Interior.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the diligent efforts of government entities, each within its respective mandate, in ensuring the success of Ashura, praising the security and community services provided throughout the occasion.

His Royal Highness also commended the efforts of all relevant institutions and entities, particularly the Ministry of Interior, the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council, religious scholars, Maatam leaders, supervisory committees, and volunteer field teams.

His Royal Highness expressed appreciation for the awareness and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by all during Ashura and commended the meticulous organisation and smooth implementation witnessed throughout this year’s Ashura.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister added that this year’s Ashura was characterised by the highest levels of discipline and organisation, reflecting Bahrain’s openness as an inclusive society where peace and coexistence prevail, at a time when cooperation and coexistence have become essential to achieving the common good.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue, through its civilised model and strong national resolve, to serve as a humanitarian reference point in the practice of religious freedoms and respect for diversity, while remaining a centre that upholds the values of Islam and its noble principles.

His Royal Highness added that Bahrain will continue to be an oasis of security and stability, a beacon of peace, and a homeland of coexistence, tolerance, and security for all its citizens and residents.
