HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extends his condolences to the Amir of the State of Qatar
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today extended his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also expressed his condolences to senior members of the Al Thani family.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reflected on the wide-ranging contributions and significant achievements of the late HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in serving his people, advancing the interests of the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as supporting their causes.
As part of the Bahraini delegation to Qatar for the funeral proceedings, His Royal Highness was accompanied by HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa; His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council; HE Brigadier Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Escort Officer to HRH the Crown Prince; HE Mohamed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador of Bahrain to Qatar; and several senior officials.
Following the funeral, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister departed Qatar, returning to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Upon departure, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was bid farewell by several senior officials.
