HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister meets with the NSA and Director General of the ISI of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today met with Lieutenant-General Muhammad Asim Malik, National Security Adviser (NSA) and Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness affirmed the depth of the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan, which continue to strengthen due to a shared commitment to furthering ties and achieving common goals.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continuing efforts to deepen joint coordination across various fields, contributing to the mutual prosperity and growth of both countries and their peoples.

The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation, the latest regional and international developments, and matters of mutual interest.

His Royal Highness highlighted Pakistan’s critical role, alongside its allies, in strengthening the foundations of regional security and stability.

For his part, Lieutenant-General Malik expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his commitment to further develop Bahraini-Pakistani relations and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior, and HE Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, also attended the meeting.
