HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (45) of 2026

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (45) of 2026, regarding the transfer and appointment of directors at the Ministry of Oil and Environment, based on a proposal by the Minister of Oil and Environment.

Article (I)
Adnan Saeed Mohammed Al Mukhareq, Director of the Inspection and Licensing Directorate, shall be transferred to serve as Director of the Strategic Policies and Planning Directorate at the Ministry of Oil and Environment.

Waleed Salman Abdulmahdi Al Moathen shall be appointed Director of the Inspection and Licensing Directorate at the Ministry of Oil and Environment, succeeding Adnan Saeed Mohammed Al Mukhareq.

Shaikh Duaij bin Subah bin Salman Al Khalifa shall be appointed Director of the International Relations and Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Oil and Environment.

Article (II)
The Minister of Oil and Environment shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
