HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with senior investment and finance officials participating in the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2026
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with senior officials from international banks and financial institutions participating in the fourth edition of the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2026, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
His Royal Highness stressed the pivotal role of the private sector as a key partner in unlocking economic growth and contributing to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s competitive advantages and advanced capabilities, as well as its sophisticated legislative and regulatory framework and modern infrastructure, which create greater opportunities for partnerships and economic cooperation and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as an investment hub.
His Royal Highness emphasised the critical role of international financial and banking institutions in supporting sector stability and efficiency and expanding economic and investment cooperation in line with global market developments.
His Royal Highness underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships with international financial and banking institutions, expanding areas of cooperation, and facilitating the exchange of expertise and best practices to support the development of the financial and banking sectors and further consolidate the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a leading financial and banking hub, in line with the Kingdom’s objectives and aspirations.
For their part, the senior investment and finance officials expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, affirming that the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting economic growth and sustainable development has strengthened its position as a leading regional investment destination.
HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister; HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
