HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities in the Republic of Cyprus

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Andreas Vyras, Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities in the Republic of Cyprus, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the progress made in deepening bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus across various fields.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and creating new opportunities to advance collaboration and achieve shared aspirations.

The meeting also addressed issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments.

For his part, the Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities thanked His Royal Highness for his commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Cyprus, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

A number of senior officials were also in attendance.
