HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the outgoing Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, at Riffa Palace to mark the end of his tenure.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to further bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, as well as pursuing mutual aspirations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the longstanding Bahrain-UAE relationship as well as the joint visions and strategic partnerships that characterise it.

His Royal Highness commended the efforts of HE Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan in advancing bilateral relations to benefit both nations and wished him success in his future endeavours.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and HE Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan discussed regional and global developments and opportunities for future cooperation.

HE Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted HRH’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
