HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated by the Speaker of the Council of Representatives

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of congratulations from the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, following the success of the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and related meetings hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, from March 11-15, and held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the theme “Promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusive societies: Fighting intolerance”.

HE Al Musallam commended the Kingdom’s growing influence, under the leadership of HM the King and the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighting the Kingdom’s international status and role.

HE Al Musallam expressed his pride in the Kingdom hosting the global parliamentary gathering, which confirms global confidence in the Kingdom’s organisational capabilities.

HE Al Musallam wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
