CP MEETS US Naval Commander

The Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised today the high and advanced standards of the armed forces indicating that this was due to the directives of His Majesty the King which had  made these land, air and sea forces a source of pride and stability.

Shaikh Salman also praised the high standards reached by the armed forces that preserve security and stability for the country thus maintaining prosperity through constructive cooperation with the US.

The Crown Prince during his meeting with US Naval Commander Admiral Gary Roughead in the presence of US ambassador to Bahrain Adam Ereli and the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that cooperation with the US has reached advanced levels.

He also called for further cooperation to achieve joint interests.

The Crown Prince also was briefed by the Admiral Rafaheed on development in the region following his tour of the area.

At the conclusion of the meeting the Crown Prince thanked the US Naval admiral for honouring Major General Abdullah Al Mansoori with the outstanding order in commanding his forces and his role in reinforcing cooperation between the two countries.
