HRH Prince Salman Attends Charity Fundraising Dinner

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa tonight attended the charity dinner “Madrasati Palestine” at the Bahrain National Museum.  Queen Rania Al Abdulla of Jordan patronised the event, organised by the Arab Woman Network. HRH Prince Salman hailed the efforts of Madrasati Palestine Initiative, which was launched by Queen Rania, describing the scheme as a noble contribution in support of the Palestinian Cause from a different approach.

“Promoting the Palestinians’ education is a tangible and positive form of support and an example to emulate for other initiatives aiming at backing the just Palestinian cause”, he said, stressing the crucial role of education in creating opportunities and promoting capabilities.”The Madrasati Palestine initiative is a step on the right path”, HRH Prince Salman said, hailing Queen Rania’s patronage of the scheme, which was launched last April.He also thanked the Arab Woman Network for organising the charity dinner, paying tribute to the artists who contribute actively.

Queen Rania delivered a speech congratulating Bahrain people on the 11th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession and Bahrain’s 39th National Day.Paintings were auctioned off during the fundraising charity dinner.
