HRH Crown Prince Receives Lloyds Deputy President
Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, today received at Rifaa Palace Lloyds deputy president Graham White, on visit to Bahrain to open Trust Re Insurance and Reinsurance Company. He described the insurance industry as one of the vital and stable sectors in Bahrain. “Bahrain always seeks to consolidate its strong economic pillars, particularly the insurance and reinsurance sectors”, he said.
He described the GCC region as rich in fruitful economic opportunities, highlighting Bahrain’s strategic location as a hub in the throbbing heart of the region and its role in connecting investors with the regional markets.He hailed Bahrain’s package of modern economic legislations, qualified human resources, infrastructure and excellent lifestyles as value adding assets in the Kingdom’s buoyant economy, reiterating Bahrain’s support and welcome for investment companies to establish on its soil.
Mr.White also underlined Bahrain’s credentials as an important economic centre which, he said, inspires confidence and assurance – essential for any long-term economic and investment success.Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rasheed Al Maraj, Economic Development Board chief executive officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince’s Court chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and Trust Re senior officials attended the audience.
