Deputy King Visits HRH Premier
Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today wished His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and other GCC leaders success in the 31st Summit hosted by UAE, expressing hope that the GCC meeting will yield fruitful results for joint interests of the brotherly GCC people.
During their meeting at HRH Premier’s court, they called for the need to prepare a second and a third row of government cadres who can carry the banners of work and responsibility, and ensure the implementation of the government’s plans to upgrade the performance and productivity of its work.
The two leaders also stressed the need to adopt the cultures of efficiency, competence and accountability, and rehabilitate competencies and support those who are able to foster government action in light of the government’s resolve to support all schemes aiming to prepare new and skilled cadres so as to accelerate government action, carry on the national march and optimise achievements. .
On the Manama Dialogue Forum, both leaders hailed the high-level international participation at the event, which, they asserted, has consolidated the kingdom’s position as a haven for peace and a venue for holding dialogue-promoting meetings, taking pride in the participating delegations’ praise of the kingdom’s developed democratic march and promotion for the dialogue of culture. In another context, the two Princes condemned the use of the Internet and technology for harming international relations, urging the International Community to join hands in order to combat e-terrorism.
