HRH Crown Prince meets British Foreign Secretary

Bahrain is committed to international conventions it has signed out of a strong belief in the need to respect them so as to further foster political work, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander emphasized  at a meeting today with British Foreign Secretary William Hague.

In line with the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain has always sought to be an active element at international gatherings working side by side with brotherly and friendly countries to solve regional and international issues and re-assert its support for international peace, he said.

He also reiterated Bahrain’s concern to tackle pending issues crippling human development and provide projects to serve mankind.He lauded deep-rooted bilateral relations hailing progress in coordinating opinions and stances regarding international issues, boosting reform programmes and democracy and protecting human rights without encroaching on domestic affairs of any country.

The British Foreign Secretary hailed Bahrain’s strides to promote institutional work, democracy, patriotism, human rights and popular participation commending the kingdom’s unwavering stances and continuous coordination with friendly countries regarding crucial issues like international peace and security and fighting terrorism.

Foreign Ministry Advisor Dr.Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Economic Development Board Chief Executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and Bahraini Ambassador to the UK Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa also attended.
