HRH Crown Prince Receives UK Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today asserted that the friendly relations bonding Bahrain and the United Kingdom have a long history of bilateral cooperation and coordination at all levels.

“The continuous cooperation between the two countries has yielded innumerable results thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Elizabeth II,” HRH Crown Prince said as he received today at Al Riffa Palace the UK Ambassador to the Kingdom Jamie Bowden.

The meeting focused on ways of bolstering bilateral ties for the joint interests of both countries. Head of HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa was present. On his part, Jamie Bowden praised the Kingdom’s keenness to activate bilateral political, economic and trade cooperation, lauding, at the same time, Bahrain’s pivotal role in solving regional and international issues and keenness to promote global peace and stability.
