Deputy King Hails Ties with France

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today expressed his satisfaction at the steadily growing Bahraini French relations, expressing desire to achieve further development and growth in key areas for the joint benefits of the two friendly countries.

“The Kingdom has succeeded thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s clear vision which has paved the way for the success of our all its political, economic and developmental projects,” he said as he received today the French Senator and Head of the French-GCC Friendship Committee Philippe Marini. During the meeting, Deputy King expressed his appreciation of the crucial role played by France in promoting world peace and stability, asserting Bahrain’s keenness to extend bridges of cooperation with France in the fields of economy, trade and peaceful use of energy.

He also called for enhancing joint social and cultural activities and reciprocal visits between the two countries. On his part, Philippe Marini praised the Kingdom’s role in promoting regional peace, security and stability, expressing his admiration of the protective procedures taken by the kingdom during the Global Financial Crisis.
