HRH Prince Salman Meets Ban Ki-moon

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Economic Development Board chairman, today met UN Secretary General Ban Ki moon, on the sidelines of the 65th General Assembly.

They discussed current regional and international issues which topped the 65th General Assembly session, describing the event as a key global platform impacting international issues and international relations.He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to participate in this annual event and take part actively in different other UN functions and programmes, highlighting the Kingdom’s support for all efforts aimed to bolster international cooperation, to the benefit of all peoples in the world.Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stresses its keenness on openness and exchanging expertise, experiences and ideas”, HRH Prince Salman said.Ban Ki-moon hailed His Majesty’s role in dealing with international issues and Bahrain’s distinguished presence in different UN agencies.
