HRH Prince Salman receives US Commander

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa , Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today received at Riffa Palace US Central Naval Forces Commander Rear Admiral Mark Fox and hailed bilateral relations, lauding the US pivotal role in maintaining security and stability in the region and the world.

The two sides discussed the current security situation calling for the region to be steered away from threats and conflicts. HRH Prince Salman stressed the importance of bolstering bilateral relations between the two allied countries and promoting cooperation in all fields, particularly the military ties. Rear Admiral Fox thanked HRH Prince Salman, hailing the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to promote peace on the regional and international arenas.

Economic Development Board Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince’s Court Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Military Office Director Brigadier General Munir Ahmed Al Sube’a and US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Stephanie Williams attended.
