HRH Prince Salman Hosts Iftar Banquet
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today hosted an Iftar Banquet in honour of Interior Ministry senior officers at the Officers’ Club. He was welcomed on arrival by Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, governors, Public Security chief Major General Tariq Mubarak bin Daina and other senior officers and officials.
On behalf of the ministry’s officials, Shaikh Rashid congratulated HRH Prince Salman on the advent of Ramadan, wishing him health and happiness and Bahraini people further progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his wise Government led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.HRH Prince Salman exchanged Ramadan greetings with the ministry’s staff, hailing the efforts of Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa in maintaining security and stability.
The Iftar banquet reflects HRH Prince Salman’s keenness to reach out to all Bahrainis, honour security forces in recognition of their efforts to preserve national security and ensure people’s safety and welfare.He also lauded the high readiness of the security forces and their competence.HRH Prince Salman’s Court chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and his personal secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa and other officials and officers also attended the event.
