HRH Crown Prince receives RCDS delegation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, stressed today Bahrain’s backing of all efforts to boost regional security and stability and protect achievements. He emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to international conventions to promote peace worldwide in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today a delegation from the British Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) headed by Jeffrey James. Bahrain’s vision 2030 has been drawn up in concordance with our aspirations for the future and is based on three fundamentals: competitiveness, justice and sustainability, HRH the Crown Prince said stressing the importance of planning and investing in human beings as the core of development.

He also pointed out the kingdom’s success in maintaining the development pace by embracing new policies that take into account global changes and the international economic momentum.HRH the Crown Prince hailed the pioneering role of RCDS in grooming senior officers for leading military positions.<br>He also commended cooperation and coordination between the college and Bahrain Defence Force.

Bahrain managed to envisage the future demands by working out its vision 2030 that defined the main goals which will place the kingdom at advanced positions, Mr.James said.Present at the meeting were Crown Prince’s Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and British Ambassador to Bahrain Jamie Bowden.
