HRH Crown Prince Receives Bahrain Polytechnic CEO
Manama, June 7. (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and the Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman, has asserted that reforming education and upgrading its output are going on according to a clear vision aiming to develop its systems and provide the necessary training programmes needed to refine practical skills.
This came as HRH Crown Prince received here today the Bahrain Polytechnic (BP) Chief Executive Officer John Scott who presented him with the BP’s yearly report. During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince praised the BP’s officials’ patriotic imitative aiming to create developed systems that will upgrade the competence of its graduates and facilitate their integration into the labour market and meet its requirements, hailing the on-going positive cooperation between this educational institution and its private sector counterparts in this regard.
On his part, John Scott lauded HRH Crown Prince’s directives, which, he said, reflect HRH Prince Salman’s follow-up of the Bahrain Polytechnic’s programmes and keenness to pave the way for the Bahraini students to receive high quality education and get decent jobs.He also updated HRH Crown Prince on the Bahrain Polytechnic’s achievements and work plans.Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa attended.
