HRH Crown Prince receives CBB Governor

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) urged today to take the necessary preemptive measures to spare the financial and banking sector the pitfalls of the global economic crisis.

He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rashid Mohammed Al Maraj who presented him with a report on the financial sector in Bahrain. HRH the Crown Prince lauded the kingdom’s balanced financial policy which has spared it any shake-ups and boosted its standing in this vital sector.

He praised CBB role in taking crucial decisions to safeguard the kingdom’s financial and economic stability. Present at the meeting were EDB Chief Executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince’s Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
