HRH Crown Prince receives President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain

Successful economic relations between Bahrain and the USA should be an incentive for more achievements, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) said calling to embrace practical thinking in dealing with the opportunities provided by the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed by both countries.

He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain Adel Al Safar and members.He stressed the kingdom’s keenness to support all economic development efforts in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH the Crown Prince urged the private sector to avail of all available opportunities in this regard pointing out the need to take advantage of coordinated efforts to optimize the benefits of FTA.

Exchanging visits between officials from both countries should be effectively exploited to reap the dividends of the agreement in the most suitable way, he said.He was also briefed about the chamber’s activities lauding its role in bolstering bilateral economic relations. Al Safar thanked HRH the Crown Prince for his continuous support pledging to exert more efforts to further promote the role of the private sector and the American Chamber of Commerce in enhancing bilateral economic relations. Present at the meeting was Crown Prince Court’s Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
