HRH Premier receives HRH Crown Prince
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his court today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board.
They condemned deliberate vandalism of schools, educational establishments and public facilities in arson attacks.These amenities, they said, are public properties benefiting all citizens.There is no logical excuse justifying these destructive practices which negatively impact the academic year and jeopardize students’ safety, both leaders affirmed describing the educational institutions as a civilisational token and scientific edifices.
Targeting schools with molotov cocktails and setting fire to them is an absolutely criminal act which requires zero tolerance with the perpetrators, they said calling on parents, citizens and all institutions of the Civil Society to confront these inhumane and uncivilized practices which are alien to Bahraini values. Both leaders underlined the importance of legislation in serving development pointing out the need to enforce laws according to the state’s economic strategy to press ahead with the development process, boost the kingdom’s attractive investment climate and preserve openness which has ever characterized Bahrain.
HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince reviewed regional and international cooperation and ways of utilizing it in serving the national economy by maximizing benefit from regional and international trade agreements and extending the scope of commercial cooperation in order to boost exports and increase revenues from them.
Both leaders called on the private sector to give more importance to the transformational industry sector and boost the national economy by investing in aluminum by-products. They also discussed regional and international developments stressing the importance of the GCC achievements and the need for regional security and stability through constructive cooperation among the GCC states.
