HRH Crown Prince Chairs EDB Executive Committee Meeting

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and the Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman, today stressed the need to rehabilitate and train the ministries and official institutions’ newly hired  officers by teaching them the real meaning of the concept of state and raising their awareness of the need to be loyal to it and devote themselves for its service, asserting that loyalty to the state, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is a must and the sense of belonging to it should be the incentive of every public officer.

This came as HRH Crown Prince chaired the EDB Executive Committee’s meeting at Al Riffa Palace in the presence of Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa. During the meeting, dedicated to discussing the Civil Service Bureau’s report, HRH Crown Prince gave directives to speed up issuing by-laws and executive decisions so as to raise the kingdom’s economic growth and create a suitable investment environment in order to upgrade the kingdom’s ranking at world economic indices and help it adhere to its international commitments outlined by the international conventions and treaties ratified by Bahrain.

The meeting also discussed the obstacles facing the speedy issuance of effective executive decisions and ways of overcoming that in the future.
