HRH Crown Prince Receives US Council on Foreign Relations Delegation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today asserted that Bahrain is a haven of peace and stability, adding that the kingdom has always adhered to the good neighbour policy.

“Since the emanation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s glorious era, the kingdom has resolved to strengthen its ties with brotherly and friendly countries and promote mutual respect and trust,” HRH Crown Prince said. Speaking as he received a delegation representing the US Council on Foreign Relations, HRH Crown Prince indicated that Bahrain supports all efforts aiming to achieve a peaceful and just solution to the Palestinian cause, which, he said, will promote regional political stability, consolidate security and spur economic development.

During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince lauded the US Administration’s key role in consolidating world security and stability, stressing the need to give priority to constructive international coalitions based on common interests so as to enable countries to face different challenges jeopardizing security and stability and hampering development.  HRH Crown Prince also expressed his satisfaction over the distinctive ties binding Bahrain and the USA, which, he said, was clearly reflected on the constructive cooperation at the economic, political and security levels.

Present were the Economic Development Boad’s Chief Executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Kahlifa and Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa.
