HRH Crown Prince Receives CPISP’s 2010 Batch

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today called upon Bahraini youths to adhere to their ambitions characterised by the spirits of excellence, defiance and persistence for which they deserved assistance and support opportunities in order to be able to achieve more accomplishments for their country.

“The element of continuity has been the most serious challenge for us, but our commitment towards the Bahraini individual has transformed the challenge into a national responsibility through which we sponsor the outstanding elite with whom we work together to build a better future,” HRH Crown Prince said.

HRH Crown Prince was speaking as he received today at Al Riffa Palace the students of the 11th batch of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP). “Since the programme was first launched, each year showcases the fruit of the tremendous efforts exerted by the Bahraini students, their parents and schools,” HRH Crown Prince added.  “Undoubtedly, today is a day of pride for me and for your parents because of your hard work and resolve to succeed,” he also said.

HRH Crown Prince expressed delight over CPISP’s steady development and the high level of students applying to it, asserting that competitivity between those outstanding candidates is a source of the programme’s main strengths. “The programme does not focus on the academic sides only, but also consolidates the creative, leadership and professional sides, and this is evident from the types of student we have and their diverse specialties so as to meet the requirements of the comprehensive development undergone by the kingdom under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who has made youth the centre of the continuous development march,” HRH Crown Prince noted. HRH Crown Prince also thanked the sponsors of the CPISP programme thanks to their belief in its noble purposes.

On their part, the students’ parents expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Crown Prince for his keenness to sponsor the outstanding students and his valuable directives to them. Present were the Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa, Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, CPISP Board members, CPISP’s sponsors’ representatives, school headmasters and parents.
