HRH Crown Prince receives CPISP graduates
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman, received today, in the presence of former US President Bill Clinton, graduates of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP).
The programme, since its inception in 1999, has been providing outstanding students, who have completed their secondary education, with the opportunity to join the most prestigious international universities to pursue their studies in various disciplines, HRH the Crown Prince said taking pride in CPISP achievements with the number of enrolled students brought up from six to over ninety out of which forty-six students have already graduated.
Bahrain is walking the path of building a knowledge-equipped generation capable of engaging in various fields to actively take part in the development of their nation, he added. Clinton described the programme as ambitious to create and groom active leaders in society.He also commended the graduates’ outstanding level and remarkable contribution to Bahrain’s growth.
