HRH Crown Prince receives Bill Clinton

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman, received at Riffa Palace today former US President Bill Clinton in whose presence he chaired EDB meeting.

HRH the Crown Prince welcomed him stressing deep-rooted relations of friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the USA and their progress in various fields. Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has embraced a democratic path based on cooperation between all powers and participation of all parties of the Civil Society, HRH the Crown Prince said outlining the principles of competitiveness, justice and sustainability of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

The Comprehensive reform project is directly aimed at investing in Bahraini citizens and improving their living standard through upgrading education to cope with contemporary requirements, he explained. He also highlighted the EDB role in mapping out economic policies aimed at modernizing Bahrain’s economy to render it more open and lure further investments thanks to stability and sound legislation.

Clinton praised HM the King’s statesmanship and acumen which provided the kingdom with stability, growth and prosperity.He also commended the key role of HRH the Crown Prince in developing Bahrain’s economic establishments by devoting technology to strategic projects.
