HRH Crown Prince attends funeral of Shaikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander attended here today the funeral of Shaikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan who died last Friday in Morocco when his glider crashed.

He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. HRH the Crown Prince performed, alongside UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Representative Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, rulers and Crown Princes, the mourning prayer at Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. HRH the Crown Prince extended his heart-felt condolences to the UAE President, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Forces Gen.Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the late Shaikh Ahmed’s brothers.
