HRH Crown Prince Receives Thai Trade Commissioner

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today welcomed Thailand’s keenness to invest in the different investment sectors in the kingdom.

Bahraini-Thai relations, in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s directives, are a successful model of reciprocal interests aiming to better benefit the citizens, HRH Crown Prince. Freedom of competition and commitment to transparency are the keys of the success we want to achieve in the kingdom, HRH Prince Salman said as he received today at Riffa Palace the Thai Trade Commissioner Kiat Sittheeamorn and the accompanying delegation in the presence of Industry and Commerce Minister Dr.Hassan Fakhro. During the meeting, the delegation briefed HRH Crown Prince on  the different investment projects that it can carry out with its Bahraini counterparts.

HRH Crown Prince vowed his support for every project agreed on by both parties, especially at the housing field, asserting that what matters most in this vital sector is that  “we provide what is required by the citizens and what appeals to them.”  Then, the Thai delegation suggested cooperating in developing the aliminium industry and the consolidation of food supplies trade.  HRH Crown Prince also inquired about the Thai experience in fish farming and exchanged views with the delegation members on the most efficient farming methods that could upgrade the kingdom’s fishing resources.

Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa was present.
