HRH CP receives American University President

His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed today Bahrain’s keen endeavor to upgrade its educational output through various initiatives and training programmes while tightly and dynamically linking it to the development efforts spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Bahrain is acting within a well-defined target which is the Economic Vision 2030 where education occupies a special place as an effective tool to boost Bahrainis’ potentials and productivity, he said as he received at Riffa Palace today President of Washington-based American University Dr. Neil Kerwin.Bahrain relies in developing education on teachers as key players to enforce set up schemes for this sector, he added pointing out to adoption of better teaching methods where students’ creativity occupies a bigger space.

HRH the Crown Prince lauded the outstanding educational level and top quality academic services provided by the American University for the students from across the world.He also reviewed prospects of bilateral educational and cultural cooperation.Dr.Kerwin commended the effective role played by HRH the Crown Prince in developing the kingdom’s educational system and tapping on Bahrainis’ talents and potentials through various initiatives.HRH the Crown Prince hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Dr. Kerwin which was attended by senior officials and the university’s graduates.Present at the meeting were Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Court’s Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
