HRH Crown Prince Receives New Omani Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today said that the deep rooted Bahraini Omani relations should be given top priority in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives.

Bahrain and Oman are similar in their keenness to preserve their national identities and rehabilitate and invest in their human resources because of the scarcity of their natural resources compared to neighbouring countries, HRH Crown Prince noted as he received the new Omani Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Amiri.

HRH Prince Salman also asked the new Ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman.

During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince called on the Omani Ambassador to take full advantage of the Joint Bahraini-Omani Committee to upgrade areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, adding that he expects Omani investments in the kingdom thanks to its positive economic and investment atmosphere.

On his part, the Omani Ambassador expressed his happiness over being in Bahrain, priding himself in inaugurating his ambassadorial career in Bahrain.

Present were Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa.
