HRH Crown Prince congratulates Shaikh Fawaz

His Royal Highness Crown Prince and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed today the outstanding achievement of the national handball team following their qualification to the final match of the Asian Handball Championship and 2011 World Cup finals in Sweden after their victory today on Saudi Arabia in the semi final in Beirut, Lebanon.

HRH the Crown Prince was speaking in a telephone call today with President of the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.HRH the Crown Prince congratulated him on the first-of-its-kind achievement at the level of team sports and asked him to convey his greetings and congratulations to the players and the technical and administrative staff on the positive result.

HRH the Crown Prince sent a cable of congratulations to President of Bahrain Handball Association Ali Isa on the historic achievement thanking him for all efforts exerted to bring about this honorable accomplishment and wishing the association further success.
