HRH CP Receives Turkish Finance Minister

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today described the Turkish modernization and development experience as distinguished and attractive. HRH Crown Prince was speaking as he received today at Gudaibiya Palace Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. Turkey possesses a rich history and civilisation and has realized a lot of important achievements at all levels, HRH Crown Prince said.

Consolidating and developing Bahraini-Turkish relations has become, now more than ever, a necessity in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s aspirations, HRH Prince Salman asserted.This is badly needed because HM King Hamad highly values the pioneering Turkish example as one that brings together political moderation and economic openness.Opening new horizons of tourist, industrial and cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries is among our economic priorities for the coming years, and this has to be followed up by both sides.

The Turkish Minister expressed his admiration of the Bahraini progress and development achieved under the wise leadership of HM King Hamad.This urges us to re-build bilateral relations to take advantage of our common successes, he said.He also invited HRH Crown Prince to visit Turkey in order to profit from his political wisdom and economic ideas.Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij and the Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Dr.Ibrahim Al Abdulla were present.
