HH the Crown Prince chairs CPISP Board Meeting

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, chaired the Board Meeting of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Program (CPISP) today at Riffa Palace, affirming the private sector contribution to the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain through its support of the CPISP and its endowment fund.

His Royal Highness also praised the Program efforts aimed at providing Bahrain talented youth with the skills and education that will allow them to take key decision-making roles in the future and contribute to Bahrain continued development.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed the Program latest developments and upcoming functions, which include final selection stages of the Program ten annual scholarship recipients, who will be announced in March.The Board was also briefed on the application process for next year scholarships, which applicants must apply for from 14 Feb – 3 March 2010.

His Royal Highness affirmed that the Program application process generates a sense of competition among students and compels them to start planning for the demands of the labor market, which comes as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030 Economic Vision.
