HRH CP Receives Turkish Parliamentary Delegation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today considered Turkey as a regional exemplary country thanks to its openness, moderation and defence of the real Islam against extremists and their victims alike.

HRH Crown Prince was speaking as he received today, in the presence of the Representatives Council Chairman Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, the Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Mr.Mehmet Ali Shahin and the accompanying delegation.During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman said that the Turkish model is based on the rule of law, adherence to capitalism, openness, moderation and keenness to allow competition as an effective economic policy, which shielded Turkey from extremist ideologies.”We appreciate this Islamic model in line with the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa whose Reform Project, embodied in the inauguration of the Bahrain Economic Vision, 2030, is a source of our pride as it ensures complementarity, justice, competition and development,” HRH Crown Prince added.

HRH Prince Salman also hailed Turkey’s stances supporting the Palestinian rights, asserting Bahrain’s readiness to join efforts with Turkey in this regard.Mr.Mehmet Ali Shahin expressed his admiration of Bahrain’s development and progress, especially in the economic, cultural and technological domains.He also invited HRH Crown Prince to visit Turkey and its Grand National Assembly so that Turkish MPs could profit from his economic and political experience and wisdom, as HRH Prince Salman is considered to be a world economic and political expert and reference.

Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, the Representatives Council Deputy Chairman Ghanim bin Fadhl Al Buaineen and Bahraini Ambassador to Turkey Dr.Yussef Abdulla were present.
