KEY CROWN PRINCE INTERVIEW TO BE AIRED ON AL ARABIYA TV TOMORROW

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and  Deputy Supreme Commander, has highlighted a number of key issues in an television interview on Al Arabiya Channel.

The following is a summary of the main points he covered in the interview:

–  Honoured to carry out His Majesty King Hamad’s directives as the kingdom’s Crown Prince.

– It is unfair to question Arab Shi’ites’ loyalty and allegiance as Sunnis and Shi’ites have led peaceful and harmonious co-existence for hundreds of years.

– The leadership is capable to defend the nation and protect its accomplishments.

– Bahraini Armed Forces are ready to back the Saudi Forces in defending their frontiers and sovereignty.

– A military solution is not enough by itself to settle the Yemeni-Houthi issue.

– The Palestinian cause is just but suffering from interferences and political cowardice and the two- state solution is the best option.

– GCC is an entity that we work on consolidating.
