HRH CP: Kingdom continues development and welfare resolutely
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, said that the Kingdom of Bahrain determinedly continues its development and welfare march under the leadership of the fatherly His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain and to preserve its achievements and to further build on them.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince pointed out, as he received the US Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Affairs, Human Rights and Labor Michael Posner in Riffa Palace today, that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership made a number of initiatives concluding in the report of the Bahraini Independent Commission of Inquiry and the outcomes of National Dialogue in order to redress the situation in the aftermath of the unfortunate incidents that took place the Kingdom this year and will continue to activate and implement them, stressing the need for positively responsible interaction and availing from the opportunities for communication and cooperation between all parties and the disposition to realize the best interest of the country whilst taking socio-economic development into consideration.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince cited the Kingdom’s accomplishments under the leadership of His Majesty the King under the reformation project in activation of democratic practices which included the constitutional and economic institutions, freedom of expression, focusing on empowerment of women and preservation of women’s rights as a worthwhile partner in the community which are major indicators of the civil and democratic breakthrough in the Kingdom.
On the other hand, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Affairs, Human Rights and Labor Michael Posner accentuated his country’s support to the Kingdom of Bahrain in its efforts aimed at achieving aspired progress and development and praised Bahrain and its people for their accomplishments over the past decade.During their meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the US Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Affairs, Human Rights and Labor discussed a number of regional and international topics.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince pointed out that regional aspects should be comprehended when considering the situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court’s chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa and USA Ambassador in the Kingdom Mr. Thomas Krajeski.
