Deputy King Hosts Weekly Majlis
Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, today described successful democracy as the guarantor of stability and the catalyst to achieve progress within the rule of the law.
“Developed nations have achieved their historic projects gradually and rationally, while abiding by the rule of the law”, he said. He made the comments as he hosted his weekly majlis at Riffa Palace. Senior members of the Ruling Family, ministers, dignitaries Shura Council members, Mps, municipal councilors, prominent ladies and other key figures attended.
Deputy King HRH Prince Salman voiced his optimism in the bright future of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He pointed out Bahrainis’ firm belief in consensus and diversity as well as their abhorrence of terrorism and extremism, stressing their capability to emerge from the unrest which hit the Kingdom of past months. He lauded Bahrain’s strides regarding educations, women’s rights, healthcare, security and stability.
He underlined Bahrain’s capacity to regain the growth momentum and revitalize development in all fields. He urged all Bahrainis to stand united as the Kingdom gears up to celebrate HM the King’s Accession Day and Bahrain’s National Day.
