HM King Hamad receives cable from HRH Crown Prince

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today a cable from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, on the occasion of Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI)’s submission of its final report.

HRH the Crown Prince extended congratulations to HM the King on the historic national achievement which he described as the dividend of HM King Hamad’s resolve to boost the democratic and reform march in Bahrain.He hailed the historic royal decision on June 29, 2011 to set up the independent fact-finding commission under the chairmanship of prof.

Mahmoud Sherif Bassiouni commending HM the King’s keenness to preserve the kingdom’s status as the land of consensus, diversity, unity, democracy and prosperity. He also described the decision to set up the committee, which he said is a historic precedent in the Arab World, as a reflection of HM the King’s keenness on probity and justice.
