Deputy King Hails Deep-Rooted Bahraini-Saudi Ties
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King and Crown Prince, has lauded the distinguished position enjoyed by Saudi Arabia regionally and globally, praising its religious and civilizational contributions and its pioneering role in all key issues.
This came as he received here today, at Al Riffa Palace, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Bahrain Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al Marek. During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince congratulated Saudi Arabia for the success of the Haj season and praised the efforts exerted by the organisers. The Deputy King also commended the “constructive and effective” role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in backing Arab and Islamic issues, which, he asserted, will safeguard the GCC and the Arab and Islamic nations.
He also praised the two sisterly kingdoms’ outstanding deep-rooted ties, strengthened thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Abdulla for the joint interests of their two brotherly peoples. Head of HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa attended.
