HRH Crown Prince attends Dubai Airshow 2011

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today took part in launch of Dubai Airshow 2011 being held in the United Arab Emirates and official inaugurated by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum in the presence of the Spanish Monarch, King Juan Carlos I.

 Also present at the opening Dubai Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dubai Crown Prince Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Princes’ of the UAE. The Dubai Airshow is being held in its twelfth edition at the exhibition area located at Dubai International airport and would continue until November 17.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of his tour of the airshow, His Royal Highness Prince Salman in a statement said that his attendance was to participate with his brothers leaders of the UAE in their joy of hosting such a great achievement and to congratulate the people of the UAE on this accomplishment. He also stressed that this exhibition was consider a valuable opportunity for international participation in the region and please all GCC member states. HRH Prince Salman said that Bahrain was also keen on taking part in such events since their very beginning.

Moreover, he emphasized that there was a vast opportunity of the exchange of expertise and cooperation with regard to hosting similar successful events in move complementing joint GCC cooperation on all levels. h.s.
