HRH Crown Prince Issues Edict Reconstituting Mumtalakat Board of Directors

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board issued Resolution NO (3) for the year 2011 reconstituting the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.

  The Resolution is as follows: After perusal of Decree No. (9) for the year 2000 on Establishing the Economic Development Board (as amended); and Decree No. (64) for the year 2006 on Establishing Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company  “Bahraini Closed Shareholding Company” (B.S.C.C.); and The Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of  Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company; and Resolution No. (6) for the year 2006 on Constituting the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company,  We resolve the following:Article (1)The Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company shall be reconstituted to be made up of His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, as Chairman; and the following members:1. The Minister of Finance2.  The Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board3. The Minister of Cabinet Affairs4. The Minister of Works5.The Chief Executive of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company 6. Dr. Essam Abdullah Fakhro7. Dr. Samer Majid Al Jishi8. Mr. Reza Abdullah FarajThe duration of their membership in the Board of Directors shall be four years.Article (2)

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and take effect as of the date of its issuance.
