HRH Crown Prince Lauds Japan’s Development Strides

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, has appreciated and praised Japanese people’s creativity and ability to deal with the natural disaster that struck the country recently, reflecting  Japan’s outstanding strides at all levels.

Speaking as he received the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Hideo Sato, HRH Crown Prince said that the kingdom respects Japan and is keen to consolidate its ties with it thanks to its exemplary progress and development based on its own successful experience, rich cultural heritage and the successful experiences of others.  

HRH Crown Prince also discussed with Ambassador Hideo Sato the latest developments in the Middle East, hoping that security and stability will be restored in the region as soon as possible. He also said that the outcome of the latest regional developments may need time in order to be crystalized.  In this context, he lauded the “unique” successful Turkish experience, merging deep-rooted tradition and modernity, asserting that modern Turkey can play an effective and positive role  in developing the Middle East and enabling it to bring about a democratic approach based on  diversity, pluralism and respect for others.

HRH Crown Prince also discussed ways of bolstering bilateral relations at levels, in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, for the joint benefits of the two friendly peoples, in particular, and other GCC peoples, in general. On his part, the Japanese envoy expressed admiration of Bahrain, wishing it further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of HM King Hamad. He also commended the key role played by HRH Crown Prince in enhancing Bahraini-Japanese ties.
