HRH Prince Salman On Visit to Kanoo and Fakhro Majlisses
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today praised the role of Bahrain majlisses in consolidating the pillars of unity, deepening the feeling of national belonging and promoting human communication between Bahrainis.
This came as he visited the Kanoo Family majlis, accompanied by his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. He paid a heart-felt posthumous tribute to the late Amir Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for his contribution in promoting social and cultural interactions in Bahrain majlisses. He underscored the importance of such creative interaction in building a society based on solid foundations.
He also lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for promoting comprehensive and serious reform based on national consensus for the sake of Bahrain’s present and future. Abdulaziz Kanoo hailed the crucial role played by HRH Prince Salman to boost the national economy, promote the educational system and ensure Bahrain’s status at the forefront of nations as a country laden with economic and investment opportunities, thanks to its security and stability.
HRH Prince Salman then paid a visit the majlis of Fakhro Family, where he was welcomed by Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Abdulla Fakhro, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Dr Essam Abdulla Fakhro, members of the Fakhro family and other majlis guests. He congratulated the Fakhro family on their majliss, which was constructed a year and a half ago. He lauded this constructive step which, he said, reflects the desire of Bahrainis’ commitment to these noble traditions and promote the role of majlisses as a gate for human interaction.
He urged unity to ensure Bahrain a bright future and provide the new generation an opportunity to construct, building on the work of fathers and forefathers. Industry and Commerce Ministry Dr Hassan Fakhro and BCCI Chairman Dr Essam Fakhro assured HRH Prince Salman on the economic situation, the market and price trends. They both affirmed the stability of the economic situation, paying tribute to HM the King for his constant care and firm keenness to ensure Bahrain’s progress and prosperity.
