His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander receives GCC Secretary –General at the Riffa Palace today

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander emphasized that the GCC is our bonding entity which consolidates our unity, identity and geographic position. His Royal Highness emphasized that this united Gulf entity has succeeded in protecting our gains and preserving our security and aspirations during the unfortunate incidents which occurred in the Kingdom of Bahrain recently and expressed his appreciation of all the wise actions taken by His Majesty the King in order to realize the national consensus dialogue.

His Royal Highness made these statements during His Royal Highness’ meeting at the Riffa Palace today with GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayyani.His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander lauded the noble stance of GCC brothers and expressed his appreciation of the role and efforts of Dr. al- Zayanni regarding liaison and organization amongst the GCC member countries which contribute interest of GCC countries politically, economically, socially and to development and peoples’ aspirations.

The GCC Secretary-General Dr. Al-Zayyani hailed the initiatives taken His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty’s efforts which aim at boosting stability, social peace, transparency and addressing events courageously and firmly though His Majesty’s invitation for dialogue and the formation of the independent Royal Fact-Finding Commission  which affirms His Majesty’s genuine political  pragmatism. GCC Secretary-General conveyed the GCC countries applause of the goals and context of the  recent trip made by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander to the United States of America as well as to a number of European countries and their official endorsement of His Majesty’s persistent efforts in establishing security and supporting  justice, dignity and depicting  the true  image to the world and proceing towards more development goals.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa CEO of the Economic Development Board  and also Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa advisor to His Royal Majesty the Crown Prince.
