HRH Crown Prince receives Al Saleh

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, paid tribute today to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa describing his reform project as the catalyst of progress and prosperity in Bahrain.”HM the king has always been yearning to further boost the kingdom’s status and ensure a better future for Bahrain,” he said as he received at Riffa Palace today Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh.

“Extremism and bigotry are two characteristics which are alien to the Bahraini people. HM the King wanted this nation to be the land of love, tolerance, unity and diversity,” he added.”Criminals, wrongdoers and law breakers who tried to harm the nation and its institutions have to be interrogated and tried,” he stressed warning over being misled by rumours.He also called on mass media to play their role professionally and avoid being a means to take revenge to prevent rumours of unidentified source from jeopardizing the national texture in the long run.

He expressed hope all Bahrainis would assume their national responsibilities in these hard circumstances by showing loyalty to their leader, HM the King.”Everyone of us has, in these difficult circumstances, to defend the reform project to prove our capability to overcome crises by preserving national gains,” he said.Al Saleh hailed HM King Hamad’s efforts to protect the nation and ensure its security and stability expressing thanks and respect to HRH the Crown Prince for his outstanding role in handling the crisis.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
